About Me
I live in Centerville with my wife and daughter while working full-time as a UX designer. You'll often find me with my camera handy—I never want to miss a chance to capture a great shot. Planning vacations is always a balance between which gear to bring and anticipating the photo opportunities ahead.
Let me clarify about the photo above—I'm definitely not a surfer. During a week on the Oregon Coast, my wife surprised my daughter and me with surf lessons. I wasn't thrilled initially, as I'm not a fan of cold water, but the wetsuit worked wonders in keeping me warm. It turned out to be a fantastic experience shared with my daughter.
My Gear and style
I shoot with Canon and really value the versatility of my full-frame mirrorless camera body, which perfectly complements my photographic style. One of my go-to lenses is the Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 L—it's fantastic for a wide range of photo sessions. I also use a variety of Peak Design products to support my gear.
I enjoy creating a classic film aesthetic in my photos, keeping them light, airy, and true to life in terms of skin tones. While I have my own style, I'm always open to adjusting based on your vision for your memories. If you want more vibrant pictures or have specific preferences, just let me know—I'm here to make it happen!
